Roses are red, violets are blue,
hi I'm Wei Wen, how do you do?

I finally finished my NS last year,
now I'll be going to Berkeley, California.

Prior that, life was pretty good for me,
I had two amazing years in RJC.

It is embarrassing to talk about myself so shamelessly,
like telling you I was from national team cross country.

Regardless I thank you for your precious time,
and I hope you enjoyed my little rhyme.

It is typical for people to hear my voice before seeing my face. Not so that I am unpleasant looking, but because my mouth never stops talking. Be it sharing experiences or engaging in an intellectual exchange, I always brighten up at conversational opportunities. So do please approach me anytime for a chat, and I look forward to knowing all you guys.

Crystalbel Foo
I'm attending LSE this fall to study Economics. When I was younger, I was pretty convinced my passion lay in animal welfare; nowadays I've decided to settle for keeping a pet. Besides a love for all furry creatures, I also enjoy watching marathon re-runs of House, volunteering at a local community centre and jazzing on the drumset (who says girls make bad drummers?). Most of all, I love meeting new people! I'm looking forward to uncovering new insights with the teams and getting to know all of you -- feel free to come up and chat anytime (:

Jacklyn Zhang
Hi this is Jacklyn! I am going to Duke this fall to do Political Science/ Econs. I was a participant in the previous Amoeba Challenge. In fact I'm the only one among all your scholar facilitators so catch me quick of you want exclusive tips!

In order to help you know me better, I'm putting up this rather detailed breakdown of my life, as of now.

French lessons - 30%
French homework - 0.2%
Facebook - 8 %
Reading - 18%
Visiting art museums and other related events - 5.6%
Working out - 5.5%
Getting ready to work out - 6%
Listening to pop songs on Youtube - 3.5%
Listening to songs with fewer than 3000 views on Youtube - 10.5%
Watching soccer - 0.1%
Roaming around town - 10%
Queuing up for bubble tea - 2.6%

I believe this is helpful. Really look forward to meeting you guys!

“I’m a closet geek,” Linan says. However, he’s an open geek for telling you that. What then is he? He’s just kidding. Or is he. Linan snapped and said, “Enough. Besides making people confused for my own entertainment, I do music - progressive metal, high renaissance, blues rock and Italian arias. I sang in and conducted two choirs during my 6 years in school and formed my own a cappella group. In my spare time, I play classical piano, rock synthesizers and a little bit of drums. I agree with Quentin Tarantino when he said “To me, torture would be watching sports on television.” I much prefer Maroon 5 Live. Other than music, my other comparative advantage is economics. I was a relief teacher in RJ for a while. If you recognize me from random occurrences, please do say hi. If you were my student, you better. I’ll be flying to New York next year to study at Columbia. My fantasy is to play music live in a bar in Manhattan.”
