the HANGOVER effect..

All good things have to come to an end, and surely Amoeba Challenge 2011 did end with a hang yesterday.

Gabriel to Linan: shit man, do miss EDB and everyone at the challenge.
Linan to Gabriel: EXACTLY MISS.

*true story, you can check our phones:)

Moving forward, there are 3 important things you got to do from now. Okay, adding in the DUR studying for A'Levels, thats 4:)

1. Stay connected with us. You can/should/must keep in contact with the EDB team, and if you want the 4 of our happy gang. Feel free to stalk and pimp Weiwen, ogle and hit on Crystalbel (yes can you believe it, she is still single, but not for long!), flirt around with Linan, or just chat and play online foosball with me:) we all have Facebook, so do add us!:) you can find them through me, and the other EDB officers via Linan:)

2. Come down for future EDB engagements! The 4 of us will try making it down for subsequent engagement/scholarship fairs and talks, so pls say hi when you see us:) even if we were mean and nasty (hint Linan) during the session, we are still nice people within!

3. Think about overseas applications. The 4 of us got many questions about overseas education/universities/scholarships quite a bit from all of you during the 3-days. A tip, listen up during school because your schools will run workshops and talks to prep you adequately, trust me:) especially for girls, do bear your applications in mind whilst busy studying for A'Levels, there's more out there than books. For guys, no hurry if you're applying for the EDB scholarship, National Service works nicely in giving you up to 3 years of applications. Rmb Barney Stinson and his 3-day rule, it works with 3-year rule too!:) trust me, I WILL BE a living example haha:)

Okay, thats all from me.:) cheers, glad you guys had fun but most importantly, hope that all of you learnt something.

With love,
from talkative Gabriel, snoobish Linan, paikia Weiwen, and HOT LEGS Crystalbel:)
and your lovely EDB officers.

Jubilant JUICY:D

Bang the tables, stamp your feet, cue the drumrolls. The winner is JUICY:D! Their plan to develop the aqua agriculture industry in Singapore impressed the judges the most!

Yup here are your winners!
All the teams had impressive plans that in every way demonstrated the effort they poured into the project. The ideas were innovative to say the least. What then made JUICY:D the group that gets their photo featured above? Their idea was presented in the most logical and organized manner. The way in which they narrowed from mega trends to demand factors to industrial influence to the impact on Singapore to the role that EDB can play gave them the extra edge.

D-Day: Zephyr

Barney Stintson nixes the idea, citing the "Three Days Rule" (waiting three days to call a prospective love interest). He claims the rule has its origins in Jesus' resurrection (whom Barney claims also invented the high-5).

Given this scientific proof that the time span of three days is the ideal amount for any event, our Amoeba Challenge 2011 culminates on this third day with our final presentations.
